How to make Facebook less cumbersome and annoying – E-mail Notifications

As you are probably aware, Facebook likes to send you emails on everything.  There is a huge list (73 items total) of things they will send you information on.  Lets take a look at how we can change these settings.

First you want to click on the little wheel, which is located on the upper right of your screen.   This will give you a menu choose Account Settings.  On the left side of your screen you will see a menu, click on notifications.  In the notifications settings click on Email.

The first choice you need to make is what you really want to receive.  The second is what you are subscribed/unsubscribed to.  Facebook only shows you the first 4, (most relevant) but you can click on see all and the entire list will show up.
